Since 2012 I've collaborated with various artists on their album/EP projects as a music producer across many different genres. Following my studies in cross-media production and publishing, my passion for storytelling also led me to work as a freelance journalist, covering topics related to culture, politics, and art.
As an audiovisual documentarian, music producer and project coordinator for the New York-based music label Ostinato Records, I participated in the Grammy-nominated project "Sweet as Broken Dates," a compilation of Somali music aiming to challenge global media perceptions of the country, which involved travels to Somaliland and Djibouti. Similar projects with Ostinato subsequently brought me to Sudan, Senegal, Chad, Cape Verde, Thailand and Uzbekistan.
Since 2020, I have been working as a music producer, freelance consultant and social media content producer for NGOs such as The ONE Campaign and APRI - Africa Policy Research Institute. This role involves conceptualizing, filming, shooting and animating photo and video content on policies issues including extreme poverty, preventable diseases, climate mitigation and adaptation, and digitalization.
In 2024 I started working on my own project "World of Feeñ", a science fiction fairytale consisting of music production, writing and artworks.
